Interview With a Boybarian

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

Well, if you hung out with me for the 5 whole days I tried Facebook you may have seen the interviews. Since I had all of 12 friends, I'm assuming this is new material for most of you. If not, I hope you'll love me anyway.

This is an Interview with 8-year-old Einstein:

1. What is something mom always says to you?
"That you love me?"

2. What makes mom happy?
"Being nice and doing good things."

3. What makes mom sad?
"Being naughty."

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
"By saying silly things."

5. What was your mom like as a child?
"How should I know???"

6. How old is your mom?
"ummmm.... 33?"

7. How tall is your mom?
"5 feet, prob'ly"

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
"Well, I don't actually really know. She doesn't do many things."

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?
"Does things she wants."

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
"You mean being famous for something you're good at? Hmmmm. Ummmm.... I don't know about that one."

11. What is your mom really good at?
"Oh man. Really good at? Scrapbooking, maybe?"

12. What is your mom not very good at?
"I don't know really know anything you're not good at."

13. What does your mom do for a job?
"Designs blogs."

14.What is your mom's favorite food?
"Hmmm... I should think. Because you like lots of things. Vegetables?"

15. What makes you proud of your mom?
"Hmmm... at many things. About almost... always."

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
"In this drawing book, there's a cartoon book with a lady who's running. She's a running cartoon lady..."

17. What do you and your mom do together?
"School. Math. Wait... school work."

18. How are you and your mom the same?
"Maybe by freckles as one thing. You mean things we like? I dunno."

19. How are you and your mom different?
"One thing that makes us different is maybe our eye color? Our hair. My hair looks brown from the outside."

20. How do you know your mom loves you?
"Well that's easy. She just loves me. She's nice to me."

21. What does your mom like most about your dad?
"Hmmm... how he looks? He is good at drawing houses, well, he's good at working. Sort of because he gets a lot of money."

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go?
"I don't even think I can think of a single thing. Nanie's house, I think."

Thanks to my cousin Amy (who is probably mad at me for ditching FB) for the interview questions.

How sweet!

It's nice to know that even if you don't do "many things" that whatever it is you do, you do "whatever [you} want" when the kids aren't around. :)

Perception is everything.

Oh wow. I love these. Might have to steal them. They remind me of the mother's day "forms" my kids always filled out about me when they were in preschool.

My favorite one was that you are different because Einstein's hair is brown from the outside. Hilarious!

Ok. So, I commented on all THREE of your interviews this morning. On FB. So, are you telling me you won't be seeing them? Huh?

Amy said...

Hmmm mmmm. John told me this morning that you emailed him. He said you must have thought he could let me down gently.

Very very cute answers!!

So cute! It's fun to see things from a kid's perspective.
I keep wanting to ditch FB, but I get sucked back into it.

I can't wait to do those with Jackson! That will be funny!

I'd be your friend on FB, but I didn't know you were on there!

I completely understand about ditching FB!! Although I haven't deactivated myself yet I sure have thought of it often.

Do you mind if we lift these questions to interview our own boys? I enjoyed reading that and my boys love to make appearances on the blog....

Aww this is cute! I might do this with my kids. I wonder what they will say?

In preschool they did something like this and my kids said I like to clean, and that I was 88 years old.. sigh.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa This is SO cute. Hey, I think you have more friends on FB than I do. I also have like 90 things I'm suppose to accept or decline or do something with and I just don't do it. It keeps building up. Could I have a record I wonder?
