11 Days 12 Hours 30 Minutes

Sunday, November 9, 2008

Not that I'm counting or anything. ;)

So on Saturday, my hubba hubba Handy Man walks in and chucks a box in my direction. It's already open. Never mind that it's a federal crime to open someone else's mail. He thinks it's a Christmas present we ordered.

He rolls his eyes and walks out.

That's how I knew it was this:

I got my copy from my dear bloggy friends, Julie and Marshall. I got to "meet" them when I did their blog makeovers. And then, I found out that Marshall was working on the movie. He's a sound mixer-upper. I bet that's even his official Twilight title: Mr. Sound Mixer-Upper Guy. Look for him in the credits. ;)

Oh my gosh. So, I made a Saturday night date...

...with my tub and my Twilight companion. And people think we 30-somethings don't lead exciting lives. Hummpphh!

And I saw this...

this...

and even this...

You can get a temporary movie fix here. You can get your own copy to love here.

And now, it's 11 days, 11 hours and 37 minutes. *sigh*

Please, go take my poll up on my sidebar. Pretty please.

  2. Darn it! Julie beat me to the punch! ARGH!! hahahahaha

I had one of those wild and crazy nights a few night ago. Yep - me, a glass of wine, my copy of the Twilight movie companion and a nice, warm bubble bath! aaahhhhh

So, is hubby going with you to the movie? I don't think I could get A. J. to go with me even if I drugged him! Hmm - which gives me an idea . . . only joking!

  3. :-) hehe. Sounds like a fun way to spend an evening. I didn't have to resort to the tub (tho I will this afternoon!!!), because Big Dude took little dudes on an overnight camping trip this weekend. Me and Twilight #3 were good buddies this weekend ;-)

    Re: your poll (I voted): #1 was 37 weeks, and #2 & #3 were 38 weeks.

    Sunday blessings to you...

  4. Your pictures have me rolling! I love all those doodles.

Nothing like a good bubble bath with a little inspirational reading material!

  5. I so need two of those for my daughters! They are waiting very patiently. Only reminding me about two or three times a day. :)

  6. I just can't get over this Twilight phenomenon! I was also on the receiving end of a great surprise from Julie - the first two books in the series, which I'm still a bit nervous to open but will this week. I think Julie deserves some extra bloggy love these days!

Got a kick out of your doodles in the companion. Sometimes it's just so great to be a girl. :-)

  7. You know, I'm trying really hard to remind myself that with my current state of unemployment, it's probably best to not buy such things, but... I seriously want one... Seriously.

  8. Am I missing out b/c I have no clue what Twilight is? Vampires? Really?

I liked them in The Lost Boys from the old days but have hated them ever since I read Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire-- cuhreeeepy!

I totally love my big tub. When Tank gets in it, he likes to use the little inflatable pillow. Then he always goes on and on about how he's in "paradise". He is so low maintenance!

  9. That is so funny... I am almost done with book 4. I will finish today... I had to get a bunch of gifts made before Zach left this morning for America... and he is mailing you something! Be on the lookout...

  12. Congratulations on the milestone! My daughter was only 11 days early and still had some problems with her digestive system not being fully developed - every day counts! I cannot WAIT until this movie comes out... I'll be fighting all the teenagers for the best seat in the theater!

  13. I can't wait until the movie comes out! I became totally obsessed with reading this series ~ thanks to you sweet Darcy ~ and now my sister's reading them. I warned her about the need for limits. Of which I had none. I've finally caught up with my laundry!

  16. I just finished book two and I'm with you on the count down...though for more than one reason. The release of the movie coincides with the end of Hubby's two week work trip. And he promised to take me to see it when he gets back! He's so sweet.

  17. These are really going around :-)

I have one of these tucked away for Katie for Christmas.

And then tonight in the van, I asked the girls "if you could only get one gift for Christmas, what would it be?" And Katie said she wanted a certain vampire...
