Tagger Blog Meme Thingys

Friday, October 17, 2008

Will you all still be my friend if I never do one of these ever never again? Promise?

I lost track of the 'tag you're it' emails I've been getting. And honestly, I can't remember what all I'm supposed to do. I think I owe my first born to a mythological creature, have to recount my swiss-cheese memory about something or another, and tag all my friends. So, um...

I don't even know if this fulfills my tags, but here ya' go:

Random Things About Me: (may this fulfill my 2008 quota of memes!)

14. But it's not McCartney either.
15. I have finished every single book I've ever started except for one.
16. In the book all the darn characters have the same names. Generations of people named the same names.

  2. btw, I remember when you were first talking about Twitter and figuring it out... I guess you fell in love and now are doing it... you need a post explaining twitter, now that you have figured it out.

    You are too funny!!!

  6. Personally, I HATE doing these things. But ... I surely love reading them when OTHERS do them ;-)

No heckling from me. Oh yeah, and I was a 100% public schooled kid ... and I never went to prom. And I was never sad about it. And I don't remotely feel like I've missed something important in life. And I think I've turned out ok (I guess others might question that?)

  7. I loved reading all of these, and we still love you. My first tag (that I was so excited about because I felt loved) took me two months to get to, and by that time I had about 8 more and couldn't remember them either. But I still love them, and this post is the reason why!
And because of you I found out that I had the letter verification thing a majiger on my comment section and promptly took it off. :)

  8. I'm not sure how I found your blog, but I love it! I have three boys also. Names would all be similar to yours....especially trouble.
He just fell off our treadmill. "I'm okay!" as he jumps up.
...And I married my prom date, so I talk to him everyday. But that doesn't happen to everyone. I started to homeschool my boys to but had to stop.
    Keep it up...it's great.

  9. My funny and very creative friend, the mother of all memes is done and you never have to do that again. You're free!

    :-)

  10. Oh wow. I'm still mulling over the fact that you dissected a human being. Twice. Oh you are a better woman than I. We dissected pig brains for homeschooling and I almost passed out. In front of all the other moms. I'm not doing it again.

    You rock.

  13. You said how I feel about it all...have you seen my MEME button on my right sidebar... I had hoped it would be a subtle note to um...NOT tag me...

turns out I get tagged more often I think, and some (Jocasta @princessandpeas on twitter) tags me just to see what I come up with snarky wise?!

    Oh well.

I ran a whole week of MEME-ed all over myself, so I could be done for the year....

    but... I like your list.

    I Stumble U and
I love twitter, photography, I can't read Marquez either,
I like covers of Beatles songs A LOT, but don't care for the Beatles.

The f-bomb throws me too on twitter, on your own blog, whatever, but I'll be over less and less.

    And Gross anatamy? Gross.

And I'm a scientist and GROSS.

100, eh? You do deserve a break. I can't do these either... bores me and would soooooo bore YOU!
    ReplyDelete
  14. So... I once had a coach who was studying anatomy, and she used to tell us about dissection. The only thing I remember is her description of fat. It is not a pleasant memory.
    That is all.
OH! and have fun with your new blackberry :)

  15. 100 things! Wow, I would say that does fill your quota for the year. And you had some interesting tidbits. It sounds like you are smart and creative. And witty and cute too? Girl, you are too much!

I can't believe we both showed up on Debbie's doorstep today with cake! Looks like she's having frosting for breakfast, lunch and dinner today! Sweet!

  16. Long, funny, and creative...what is twitter?
I agree with Julie, please post so I can keep up with my teenage nephews and neices-I am only 35!
    ReplyDelete
  17. First of all... I tagged you for just 6 things, not 100. I've never heard of tagging for 100! And for what it's worth, I'm done with meme's too.

Sorry you had trouble with the iPhone. Love mine. No dropped calls. I'll text you from my iPhone to your Blackberry. I won't drop the "F" bomb on you. ;)

No judgment on homeschooling from me (obviously). My kids aren't going to the prom either.

  24. Thank you for visiting me last week on our BATW tour! I do hope you'll visit again!

I loved your homeschooling/prom comments! We homeschooled our three and that was one of the "questions" we always got! The prom? Are you kidding? Like list all the pros on one side and the prom on the other? LOL

  25. Great post! I'm close to addicted to Twitter. My hubbie reads my updates on my blog to see how I'm doing through the day. It's like mini blogging with immediate feed back!
I went to the prom with my BFF and she and I just talked this morning and we Tweet each other for laughs :)

  26. That was great! BTW, I married my prom date many many many years ago and we're still going strong. Oh yah, I bought a pay as you go cell phone almost 6 months ago that doesn't even have 1 phone number programmed in it yet and I almost never remember to turn it on. I've never text messaged...ever...and the first time I ever used a cell phone I had to ask someone in the store to show me how to answer it. Sad, but true. For reals!! LOL!! I would not know the first thing to do with an iphone or Blueberry...I mean Blackcherry...No, that's Blackberry, right ;-) Enjoy your weekend.
    Stacy :-)
